SITE ALERT 6/23/2008: I have been unable to update the Waldo Point site for a while. So if you sent me anything to upload or add such as your email or RIP additions, PLEASE re-send these. My compuer had been crashing and I lost the emails you may have sent me.
PHOTO ALBUM: If you have any good classic waterfront photos please make a collage with them. If you ae sending me an existing digital file, the resolution should be 75-100. Actual size should be no less than 600 pixels and no more than 800 pixels wide, but (in the case of a multi-picture collage) as long as needed. I can also scan printed collages if you wish to snail mail them. ***If you are scanning a photo to send me as a digital file, I would prefer to receive them as a .gif file instead of a .jpg file (GIF extentions work best to maintain clean resolution). However, if your file is already a .jpg, there is no need to re-save as a .gif. Email me to request snail mail info.
R.I.P.
Updated (finally): Fitz & Beppo For any new additions please send or re-send info. (I have lost all RIP entry emails from previous year.)
Welcome to WaldoPoint.net - a place in cyber space where we can gather 'round the virtual fire pit for the latest scuttlebutt on this die-hard crew of nostalgic aging hippies, poets and pirates from the Sausalito Waterfront.
|
We were part of something very special and our lives were filled with magic
and discovery. Rich and colorful, the history of the waterfront will always
unite us. While many of our tribe have traveled afar, the connection remains deep in our hearts. And now we can reach across time and cyber space to reconnect with those we love at WaldoPoint.net. |
 |
And speaking of reconnecting...
|
Our site has 2 interactive features. "The Fire Pit" is a free form, anything goes talk forum. "R.I.P." lists those who have passed on with a "story" format for each of the departed. Here we can post our own personal remembrances (fond or other ... it's your call).
Creativity was just one of the magic ingredient of our Waldo Point lifestyle and you are encouraged to share your artwork and stories, or add a link to your own website with your e-mail listing.

Our E-mail list is reserved for actual residents - past and present - and all of our children (even those who may never have never lived on the Waterfront. Sorry but without either of these two qualifiying characteristics, even the best and closest good buddies cannot be listed.
